It is possible to submit an assignment electronically through Blackboard. You may find that your course instructor has set up a Blackboard assignment, which they expect you to complete.
Open the assignment. On the Upload Assignment page, review the instructions, due date, points possible, and download any files provided by your instructor. If your instructor has added a rubric for grading, you can view it. Select Write Submission to expand the area where you can type your submission.

Using the Assignment feature in Blackboard can be a useful tool for you and your students. Keeping track of assignments that are submitted, that need grading, that need revising can all be handled using Assignments and the Grade Center. Having a secure system to assign grades and give student feedback is a big plus.

The Grade Center in Blackboard Learn provides students their scores or grades on their assignments, and feedback from their instructor. This allows students to see how they performed on one or more assessments in the course, and adjust their approach to the course to improve their grade (s).
Set up a weighted total column in the Grade Center, and create a running total for the course. Students will be able to see their grade after an assessment is completed and graded. This can provide motivation for upcoming assessments in the course.
The Grade Center in Blackboard can be a useful tool for you and your students. Students can access the Grade Center frequently and are able to stay on top of their progress in the course. Do your grades display correctly in the Grade Center? Do your students receive the feedback you are providing?

Let’s begin with the Grade Center. The mark-up tools you use to provide feedback in the Grade Center are, in my opinion, massively improved due to pen options, highlighting and search commands at your fingertips.

Please, if you are still having trouble add YouTube videos inside of Blackboard, let OIT know. Instructional designers have tested and been able to add YouTube videos in a few different ways.
