IT Services will be upgrading systems in the Rob Baugh Technology Center this Friday. All network and phone service will be interrupted for approximately 10 minutes during the maintenance window. This will affect all floors individually.
Due to a hardware malfunction on the servers that host our ECourses services, IT Services will have to reboot the servers hosting ECourses. The reboot will take place at 12:00PM and will last until approximately 3:00PM. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience during this downtime.
This includes disruptions to calling, faxing, and voicemail services. This upgrade is scheduled for the morning of May 15, 2014 before the start of business. The maintenance window is scheduled from 5:30 am to 7:30 am.
An emergency switch replacement has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2014. The replacement window will begin at 10:00 am and conclude by 12:00 pm today. Multiple smart rooms, offices and phones will not have network connectivity during the replacement.

On May 27, all student passwords will expire and be reset to follow a secure, but patterned protocol. This new Cardinal ID and password will apply to most TVCC services including: Cardinal e mail, Canvas, and Library Proxy services.
The TVCC E-mail service is currently experiencing a problem with message delivery delays. We are aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it. As a result of the delays you may receive a "Delivery De lay" message when sending new messages. All e-mail that has been delayed will be delivered as soon as possible.

TVCC receives $2.3 million grant. A $2,375,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education will allow Treasure Valley Community College to continue its High School Equivalency Program (HEP). This grant provides $475,000 over five years, beginning in the 2021-22 academic year, and is a renewal grant for TVCC.
Live classes are held at a scheduled time/days in classrooms on campus. Virtual classes are held at a scheduled time/days via Zoom. Hybrid classes are held at a scheduled time/days via Zoom and at some time during the quarter you will also have to attend in-person / on campus.
Online - Lectures and assignments are online. You do not meet at a specific time nor do you need to come to campus.

Three Rivers College offers eLearning opportunities as an option for our community of learners, in addition to our traditional courses. Blackboard Learning Management System (Bb LMS) is the platform used to host online eLearning courses, that are held to the same high standard as our face-to-face courses.
