Click the Action dropdown list next to the assignment that you wish to enable anonymous marking and select Edit settings. You will be directed to the update assignment page. From here, click the + Optional Settings link. Scroll through the optional settings list until you reach the option to 'Enable Anonymous Marking'.
Once a student has submitted an assignment to the submission point, the enable anonymous marking option is locked and can't be changed. As a workaround you can turn off anonymous marking for the whole submission point by changing the Post date.
The Turnitin service is available through an interface built in to Cornell's Canvas Learning Management System.
Turnitin supports anonymous marking of papers submitted by students. When Anonymous marking is turned on, all traces of the students' names are hidden from markers and course administrators. You can manually disable anonymous marking at any time by changing the Use Anonymous Marking setting to No. d. You can turn anonymous marking on and off until a student submits an attempt. After the first submission, you can only turn it off.May 26, 2020
From the Administration menu, remember to Turn editing on. Click the Edit button alongside the assignment you wish to edit. Click Edit Settings from the top of the drop-down menu. Edit any necessary settings, ensuring you select Yes alongside Anonymous Marking.
In order to submit a paper to Turnitin please do the following:Log in to your account and click on the appropriate class.Click on the "submit" icon to the right of your assignment title.Use the pull-down menu labeled "submit a paper by" to choose your submission method. Complete the form and click "submit" to finish.
