Texas A&M-Kingsville participates in the NCAA Division II and is a longtime member of the Lone Star Conference (LSC).
The engineering school is great, and for the most part the students around campus are very friendly and easy going. The town is small, going from one side of Kingsville to the other takes less than 15 minutes. Traffic is typically not bad.
