Blackboard can be accessed at elearning.tamiu.edu. Uconnect is your home base for all faculty and staff information and can be accessed at uconnect.tamiu.edu. In order to log into both resources, log in with your TAMIU NetID and password. Note: If you are a student employee, you will likely need to access Uconnect with your student credentials.

How to set up Duo Mobile TAMIU?

To begin, open an Internet browser and go to http://duo.tamiu.edu. You will be redirected to the TAMIU Duo administration page. Click on Enroll/Manage Devices to get started. On the Log In page, enter the first part of our TAMIU student email address (ex john_student) and your password.

Verifying your identity using a second factor (like your phone or other mobile device) prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.

1. Choose your Device

We strongly recommend the mobile app as the most user-friendly option.

2. Start Enrollment

Have your chosen mobile device handy to start the enrollment process. View Enrollment Guide.

3. Remember

Once complete, you will need your Duo-enrolled device when you log in with your NetID and password.

Why do I need this?

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security, keeping your NetID account secure even if your password is compromised. Once you have enrolled, you will be alerted right away (on your Duo-enrolled device) if someone is trying to log in as you.
