MySWC Account Requirement

Every student and staff/faculty member is required to setup and maintain a MySWC Account. Not only is it used to log you in to several different applications, it's also used to electronically sign forms and documents. As such, it is absolutely vital that you never share your password with anyone !

Is Blackboard an LMS?

Like Canvas, Blackboard is an LMS with a hefty academic pedigree. It began as an open-source LMS but sold that system in 2020. Blackboard's LMS for business training is Learn Ultra. Blackboard Learn Ultra is ideal for enterprise-level training.

SCKANS emails for new students are generated about 3 weeks from the start of your first class. When it is available, information on how to access the SCKANS email address will be sent to the primary personal email address we have on file.

Blackboard FAQ s

Password resets for Blackboard are sent to your SCKANS email address. Please be sure to check your SCKANS email address for the link to reset your Blackboard password.

Self-Service FAQ s

To access Self-Service, you first must request a Self-Service account. Go to Self-Service and click “Request Account” at the bottom left of the page. You’ll need to enter your SCID in the “System ID” field. Once your account has been created, you will be sent an email (to your SCKANS email address) with credentials to log in.
