By selecting a piece of text, you have the option to strike through a piece of text, instead of adding an inline comment. Choose the S icon to strike through.
Blackboard features a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor. This allows you to format text that you enter into Blackboard textboxes in a similar way as you would format a Microsoft Word document.

You can type in an offline simple text editor, such as Notepad or TextEdit, and then copy and paste your work into your course. Or, before you submit or save, you can copy all of the text you want to add. Select the text and right-click to copy it.
You can add content from the Content Market directly to the editor in your course's assignments, tests, and documents. In the editor, select Insert/Edit LTI Item. Select a tool to launch and browse for content to add. Or, select the plus sign on the Institution Tool's card to add the entire tool in the editor.
If the text in Blackboard is too small, you will need to change the font size. Press and hold the CTRL key. Then press + or – to change the size of the content on the page. This also applies to webpages you have issues with.

Add a course module page Select the Add Menu Item icon above the course menu to access the menu. Select Module Page and type a name. Select the Available to Users check box if you're ready for students to see it. After you submit, a link to the new module page appears at the bottom of the course menu.
Select the Point Annotation icon in the toolbar to type comments in any place on the document. Comments are identified by a blue conversation bubble. Click and drag to highlight text, then choose to highlight or highlight and add a comment.
