HANDS-ON HYBRID - Technical and applied skill courses will follow a Hybrid format. Most class instruction will be delivered online. Students will come to campus in small groups to complete hands-on learning and practical testing. FACE TO FACE - Take your classes in person at a campus.
2.0Overall Institution GPA The College has established 2.0 as the minimum GPA requirement for a student to remain in good academic standing. Students may refer to the Academic Status section for more information.
San Jac offers over 80 programs in eight areas of study, from Arts and Business to Health Sciences and STEM, as well as a variety of courses to help you reach your goals.
San Jacinto College does not provide housing to students. However, apartment buildings are located within walking distance of the college. In addition, many private parties advertise rooms for rent on bulletin boards around campus.
Online on a Schedule (Synchronous) Instruction means that classes have a set time to take place. Instructors and students are online at the same time.
San Jacinto College offers flexible class schedules and instructional methods, from in-person to online anytime class modes, to meet your needs.

Students who attended San Jac in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021, and received a W or F in a class, can retake the class this summer or fall. The college will pay your tuition for up to two classes. To enroll and retake a class this summer or fall, please contact your high school counselor.
There are varying lengths of academic terms including but not limited to 16-week, 13-week, and 8-week courses.
Pass Rate Component Students are expected to pass a minimum of 75 percent of all hours attempted at San Jacinto College. All transfer hours are included in the pass rate calculation.
