Any service provided to users on the public internet should be placed in the DMZ network. External-facing servers, resources and services are usually located there. Some of the most common of these services include web, email, domain name system, File Transfer Protocol and proxy servers.
The main benefit of a DMZ is to provide an internal network with an advanced security layer by restricting access to sensitive data and servers. A DMZ enables website visitors to obtain certain services while providing a buffer between them and the organization's private network.
In the DMZ, generally I'd advise no, they should not be on the DMZ. If they are on the domain and in the DMZ, the issue that you run into is that the web server must have certain connectivity back to at least one DC.
Generally speaking, it is recommended to disable the DMZ host when not absolutely necessary. This way, the network is only exposed for a particular period of time when the DMZ host is configured instead of being exposed all of the time.
Disadvantages. Setting up the DMZ is something that not everyone knows how to do, so doing it the wrong way can lead to the possibility of lose or suffer from some kind of copy in all the information that the system has.

It should be noted that DMZ or DMZ Host does not improve the performance speed or latency of your router's connection to the server. It is simply a security measure (or lack of) that decides whether or not the devices is completely open to the internet.Mar 22, 2015
Relocating these services to the DMZ allows the admin to implement tighter security on the rest of the network. Additional firewalls are often put-up between the DMZ and the internal network. Port forwarding is not really essential and you can still use the internet without it.
