In the Course Menu, click the + sign at the top of the menu and select the option Create Module Page. Give the Module Page a name such as, Home Page. Make the page available by checking the Available to Users box. Click Submit.
To make your Home Page the course entry point, go to the Control Panel and click on Customization and select Style. From here you will go to Option #4, "Select Course Entry Point" and choose Home Page from the drop-down menu.
