For those branching Field Artillery

Not sure who needs to hear this but do not despair, I know a lot of FA officers didn’t place it number one on their list. It got a bad rap from COIN warfare but as we transition back to LSCO the branch as a whole is experiencing exponential growth. Long Range Precision fires are the way of the future and the possibilities are endless.

Why is MI so popular?

MI is always one of the top branches every year but all the research I gather says they just do pointless weather briefs and they RARELY get to do any of the cool stuff. I'm not hating, I'm just genuinely curious as to what it makes it so appealing to people? Any info is greatly appreciated!

If you just branched ADA read this!

ADA is honestly THE branch. You’ll get to do awesome things that literally no one else can. Space badge ✅ Get stationed in Guam, Turkey or Japan, or Israel ✅ Small class sizes and personalized instruction✅ Branch manager that cares about your success and regularly change assignments to fit your skills and life events.

struggling mentally back at home

i’ll keep it brief. i’m not great mentally normally but when i’m at school i can power through most days. but now that i’m home for break, schoolwork and finals are kicking my ass. my hometown is gray and shitty and boring.

Any tips on choosing branch?

Current MS3, joined recently. My top choice is (probably) MI. I really feel like I’d be happy with a lot of branches, but I still have a few questions.

AMEDD BOLC

I am a nursing student in ROTC and will be going to AMEDD BOLC in the summer.

PT ideas?

So me and another cadet need to plan a PT session and I was wondering what other people have in mind? What would be something you'd like to see in PT? Our Cadre allow us to occasionally do fun things like ultimate frisbee and the like.
