In a course, select the Gradebook icon on the navigation bar to access your Course Grades page and view your overall attendance grade. Select Attendance to open up the panel to view details of each course meeting. You can view a summary and easily see how many class meetings you've missed.
On the Attendance page, select Add Attendance and the Settings panel opens. You can change the default settings for the grade display and for Late in the grade schema. You can't change the percentages for Present, Absent, and Excused at this time.

Based on the criteria you set, Collaborate tracks if a student is present, late, or absent from a session. Collaborate then sends that information directly to the Attendance tool in your Blackboard Learn course only if you have first selected and set up the Attendance tool from the Course Tools in your course.
