On the Create Assignment page in the Grading Options section, select the Enable Anonymous Grading check box. Next, choose when you want to automatically remove students' anonymity: On specific date: Provide the date you want to disable anonymous grading.
From the dropdown menu, choose the desired option for setting the author of anonymous posts. The options include Not now. Ask again later; No, leave the messages as anonymous, or to set an instructor user as the author. Once you have made your desired selection, click the Submit button.Oct 30, 2018
Click the Action dropdown list next to the assignment that you wish to enable anonymous marking and select Edit settings. You will be directed to the update assignment page. From here, click the + Optional Settings link. Scroll through the optional settings list until you reach the option to 'Enable Anonymous Marking'.

Anonymous grading (known in Turnitin as anonymous marking) is a system of assessment where a student's name and any other identifiable information is unavailable to instructors. If at any point during marking an instructor identifies collusion in a paper, they have the ability to reveal the student's name.
Turnitin anonymity is absolute – when turned on, there is no way for academics, administrators or even Blackboard system administrators to determine which students have submitted, or not submitted, until the assignment Post Date.Aug 8, 2018
