Use the search bar or the filter at the top of the page to narrow your view. Use the search function to find organizations on the current page.
Organizations behave like courses and contain tools that enable group members to communicate efficiently. Users can post information, have discussions, and share documents. Groups that might use organizations include academic departments, study groups, and extra-curricular activities.
Key differences between courses and organizations Courses are created for each course code. The students are added automatically to the course once they are registered for teaching in Student Web. Organizations, on the other hand, are only created by request.
Search quickly from the Search menu in the Content Collection menu. You can use a Basic Search or an Advanced Search.
To manually add users to your Blackboard organization roster: Click Users & Groups in the lower left corner of the organization's Organization Management area. Click Users....Manually Enrolling UsersOn your organization's Control Panel, under Users and Groups, click Users.Choose “Not Blank”. ... Click Go.
When you hover your mouse over the Blackboard Community, you will see a down arrow after the community. Click on the arrow. You will see the Enroll option. Click on Enroll to join the Blackboard Community.
Once you've logged in to Blackboard, click the 'Community' tab at the top of the screen.

In Blackboard Learn, all files that you add to your course are stored in a folder in the Content Collection. You can use this area to manage files, either from within your course area, or from the Content Collection tab at the top of your screen.
In the course Control Panel, click on the arrow to the right of Files to open the course Fileshare area. If you expand Files in the Control Panel menu you will see a variety of Fileshare areas to which you may have access. Your course area will always be listed at the top – showing the Blackboard course ID.Aug 9, 2021
