MyMSJC Account Management's Password Basics

In order to ensure that every MSJC user (student, faculty, or employee) has full access to the technology resources they need while minimizing the threat of inappropriate access, MSJC uses a combination of a user name and a password.

You are the only person who should know your password. If you have trouble remembering your password, keep a copy of it in a location that only you have access to. Do not leave your password anywhere where it will be visible to other peo​ple.

What is SLDP in MSJC?

The Student Life and Development Program (SLDP) office supports all student life, co-curricular, and student leadership opportunities at MSJC. The office oversees the Student Government Association (SGA) and all club and organizational functions including staff advisement and mentorship for all club event planning, with an emphasis on student advocacy on and off campus. The office provides assistance and support for the colleges Food For Thought (FFT) program by providing “grab n go” snack bags in both the SJC and MVC offices, as well as staff our “pop up” bi-weekly food pantry. SLDP also partners with a variety of other departments (including faculty and staff) to support our LGBTQ+ students and undocumented students. The SLDP office is committed to providing a safe, joyful, and affirming environment for students seeking to be seen, heard, and validated. MSJC is committed to helping food insecure students by offering “pop up pantries” - or food distributions - twice a month, and can connect you to finding long-term solutions to food insecurity.

What is an ISP student?

The International Students Program (ISP) provides admissions assistance to prospective MSJC students globally. ISP supports you in document preparation and issuance of I-20’s, arrival procedures, international document verification, immigration regulations and Embassy preparation assistance. ISP provides positive educational opportunities for international students from around the world, promotes and improves the global community, and provides assistance to students aspiring to enrich their quality of life through an education abroad.

What is the Puente Project?

MSJC’s Puente Project provides an academic, counseling, and leadership program that begins every fall and runs through the spring semester. The program is offered to all MSJC students and will prepare you for the university environment through visits to university and college campuses and a multicultural curriculum emphasizing Mexcan-American/Latino experiences and literature.

Groups are limited to 15 people, and juvenile groups must have at least one adult leader for each 14 juveniles . Dogs are not permitted in wilderness areas of the State Park System.

Day-use hiking within the Mount San Jacinto State Park Wilderness - permits must be obtained and are available for free on the front porch of the Mount San Jacinto Sector office located at 25905 Highway 243 Idyllwild, CA 92549. Both Idyllwild Campground and Stone Creek Campground are open to both walk-ins and advanced reservations.

Does San Bernardino National Forest have a camping permit?

The San Bernardino National Forest has a similar permit system in effect for its federal wilderness area known as the San Jacinto Wilderness. Both the State Park and National Forest honor each other's DAY USE PERMITS; however, each agency has its own camping permit system that you must apply for separately.
