The most recent grade (the repeated grade) received will be computed into the cumulative grade point average. The repeated grade will be designated by an “R.” All previous attempts will remain on the transcript, but will not be included in the cumulative grade point average.
A course may be repeated only once. Although only the second grade earned (for better or worse) will be computed into your GPA, both grades will remain on your transcript.

Moraine Valley is required by law to enforce FERPA, which states we can only disclose information to the student unless written consent has been provided by the student to share information with someone else. The “Authorization to Release Information (FERPA)” form is in the Records and Registration office.
Faculty/Instructor exams require a current Moraine Valley photo ID. All other testing requires a government issued photo ID. The Testing Center is located in Building G, Room G231.
