Students select a file title to download it. You can also expand or create a folder and upload files. Supported file types include DOC, DOCX, HTM, HTML, MP3, MPG, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, RTF, TXT, ZIP, and most image types.
A learning module appears similar to a folder on the Course Content page. Select the title or arrow to open the module and view content. In addition to content items, files, and assessments, your instructor can add activities and tools that promote interactive learning and collaboration.
Content areas, such as Users, Courses, Institution, and Library, are folders stored under the root folder. A folder is automatically available to the user who created it, and may also be visible to other users if you create it in the course area.

Typically, you create a learning module in a content area > Build Content > Learning Module. Type a name, optional description, and select the appropriate options for availability, tracking, and display dates. Display dates don't affect a learning module's availability, only when it appears.
