Miz Cracker is the stage name of Maxwell Heller, a drag queen, performer, comedian, content creator and one of the Season 10 contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she finished in 5th place.

Early life

Maxwell Heller was born in Seattle. His parents were former members of the Lubavitch community. Heller left Seattle at eighteen years old. He attended The Evergreen State College, designing his own major.

Career

Miz Cracker was announced as one of fourteen contestants competing on the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race on February 22, 2018. She won the episode ten main challenge after doing a makeover on Chester See. She was eliminated an episode later after losing a lip sync to " Nasty Girl " by Vanity 6 to eventual runner-up Kameron Michaels.

Personal life

Heller is Jewish. He resides in Harlem, Manhattan, and has a black belt in karate. Before Drag Race, he worked as a school teacher in Senegal and speaks Wolof. He held a fundraiser for LGBT rights in Uganda in 2016.

Early life

Mizerak, a lefty, began playing pool under the guidance of his father, who for many years had been the New Jersey State Champion. At the age of 13, he won the Perth Amboy City Championship and turned professional. The next year, he was refused entry into that event; they said he was too good.

Foray into snooker

Mizerak played in a series of snooker and pool challenge matches in 1987 and 1988 – rare televised examples of Mizerak playing snooker – against two of the top snooker players in the world, Steve Davis (a World Snooker Champion) and Jimmy White.

Later life

Mizerak owned and operated pool halls in the West Palm Beach - Lake Park, Florida area during the 1990s and 2000s. He founded the Senior Tour in 1996 for players 50 years of age and older and often hosted Senior Tour events at his pool hall in Lake Park.

Death

Mizerak died on May 29, 2006, at the age of 61 due to complications stemming from gall bladder surgery. He is survived by his wife Karen, two sons, and two grandchildren.
