Blackboard Learn is a browser-based application where you can work on and submit assignments and other coursework. To use Blackboard Learn please ensure you have: Access to the Internet with Google Chrome or Firefox. Check Blackboard’s web browser compatible list.

How to use Blackboard Collaboration?

To take part in a Blackboard Collaborate session you will need: 1 Access to the Internet with Google Chrome or Firefox, check Blackboards recommendations on web browsers. 2 Good quality Broadband connection recommend a minimum of 3MB. 3 Headset or Speakers to hear the lecture. 4 Microphone to chat or ask questions of your lecturer in a live class. 5 Optional, a camera so the lecturer can see you (live class).

How often does Office365 contact you?

Once installed, the application will "contact Office365" once every month to see if you are still a registered student. If it gets a positive reply it will be ok for another month. Once you leave the Institute it will enter a state of reduced functionality until you purchase a license.

Is Lyit a guaranteed service?

This is not a guaranteed service, it may be withdrawn at any time for operational reasons or for misuse. LYIT cannot accept any liability for problems caused by the downloading or installation of any software from these sites.

Is Lyit open source?
