By using a video service in class, educators can both live stream and record their lecture.
Log in to Blackboard and navigate to your course. From the left menu, scroll down to the link titled Collaborate Ultra. If there is an icon next to the words Collaborate Ultra indicating it is hidden, click the down arrow to the right of it and choose Show Link from the drop-down menu.
Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.

Click the contextual arrow next to the Username of the student whom you want to make 2. unavailable in the course. Select Change User's Availability in the Course.
Make the course availableGo to the course you want to make available.In the Control Panel (at the bottom of course menu on the left-hand side) Click Customisation. Click Properties.Under section 3, Set Availability, select Yes.Click Submit.
The course room is an open Collaborate session dedicated to the course. You can join this session any time. Select the session name and Join Course Room to join the session. This generates a unique link to help the session identify you.
