Library was great. Coworkers like family. With the new president we were always in fear of being laid off. Eventually was laid off due to covid 19. Miss my coworkers

I do not recommend

I do not recommend working at Long Island University. The work/life balance, compensation, and culture built by the administration is disturbing and unbalanced.

Awful place in the last few years

It was wonderful place to work years ago but became a nightmare when the current president took over. They overwork you, underpay you and threaten to fire you if you don’t take the extra work without any increase in pay.

Good education

Supportive faculty who connected us with rigorous clinical internships and externships. Academic training was good and I feel prepared by my program to function as an ECP.

Being as how this job is only available to enrolled students, this job is ideal for any student in the digital art and design department. Access to the labs and computers makes producing work faster.
