VLA offers courses that are completely developed and created by district design teams, but it takes approximately two years to create and launch a course. Because of the amount of time involved to fully develop a course, VLA has also leveraged third-party content that serves as the “online textbook” for some courses.

2-16-2022 Girls Basketball Win Bi District! Moving on to AREA!

We came out strong on defense and put Tidehaven in foul trouble early. Our press took over and Tidehaven just could not handle the pressure. At the half, we were up by 21. The third quarter we came out slow and only scored six points. Then in the fourth we came out and just ran away with the game.

2-16-2022 Junior Varsity Softball Wins on Opening Day!

The Lytle Junior Varsity Lady Pirates opened up their season with a big home victory against Crystal City on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, winning in three innings. Offensively, the Lady Pirates bought into the "aggressive bunt and steal" game plan, and the hustle paid off; all three innings ended due to a mandatory five run rule per inning.

Last week, the Pirates played two District games and went 2-0. The Pirates took on the Dilley Wolves on Tuesday night, February 8, 2022, and beat them. On Friday night, February 4, 2022, the Pirates traveled to West Campus High School and won.

2-12-2022 UIL Math and Number Sense Results

On Saturday, February 12, 2022, Lytle High School Math and Number Sense teams travelled to Reagan High School to take part in the UIL Invitational Meet. The Pirates went up against the top schools in the San Antonio area and came out with a trophy!

Procedures

A decision will be made as early as possible since many of our buses are scheduled to leave early in the morning. Letters regarding weather procedures will be sent to parents annually by the Transportation Department in October or November.
