PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS Apply a coat of undercoat or primer to the surface to be painted and leave to dry. When the undercoat is completely dry (check the tin for the recommended drying time if you're unsure) you can apply the first coat of chalkboard paint.

When applying the chalkboard paint, you want to start in the middle of the surface you are painting, and work outward. Use a roller for large areas, and brushes for smaller areas.
