What is learnjcu on Blackboard?
The approved amount will be transferred to the student’s Blackboard JCSU eAccount. Once the funds are in the JCSU eAccount the Bookstore will be able to swipe the student’s ID at the register to make purchases. The approved Bookstore Voucher funds are non-transferrable and will remain on your JCSU eAccount until it has been depleted.

As a JCSU Connect student, you will be guaranteed admission to transfer to Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) in Charlotte to complete a bachelor’s degree after you complete your Central Piedmont associate degree. Bookstore Voucher
Students that are expecting a credit balance refund may be eligible for a bookstore voucher that can be used for purchasing books at the JCSU Bookstore. Approved book vouchers will be charged directly to the student’s account and will be deducted from any credit balance refund.
Transfer Seamlessly
If you want to major in psychology at Johnson C. Smith, you will follow a detailed pathway that starts in your first term at Central Piedmont and seamlessly transfers the credit you earn to your bachelors degree. Additional pathways will be announced in upcoming semesters.

Complete the steps to apply to Central Piedmont as a degree-seeking student. Let your academic advisor know you are interested in the JCSU Connect program.

For example, if you want to start at Johnson C. Smith in the spring, you'd need to complete your Central Piedmont program in the fall.
