Blackboard is the platform Ivy Tech uses to give you access to class syllabi, assignments, and grades. There is also an email-like function in it for student/instructor communication. You do not have to login to Campus Connect to use Blackboard.
IvyLearn is the student portal to access your course information, syllabus, online coursework. Note that the new portal for the College, MyIvy, has replaced Campus Connect and IvyLearn has replaced Blackboard.Nov 5, 2018
2.0 - 2.5Earn a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher in the specified AS degree at Ivy Tech Community College. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 - 2.5 will be considered for admission but are not guaranteed. Students must meet the same course grade requirements detailed by each academic program.
If the student fails the course again, he/she cannot be certified for a third time for the course. If this occurs, the repeated course will not be included in the student's total number of credit hours enrolled that is reported to the VA for that semester.
Over the next few months you can return to this page get the most up to date information about the transition from Blackboard to Canvas - which we will be calling IvyLearn. IvyLearn will be used for all classes in the Summer 2017 semester and beyond.
IvyLearn: The College's current learning management system, available at http://ivylearn.ivytech.edu. All faculty at Ivy Tech are required to utilize IvyLearn for communication of essential course information to students. All faculty at Ivy Tech must complete required training in the use of the College's LMS.
Minimum requirements for admission A 200 to 400 word essay is also required. You can apply to IUPUI and without submitting SAT or ACT scores. Typically*, the admissions committee expects to see at least 3.0 GPA with a Indiana Academic Honors Diploma (or out-of-state equivalent).
Ivy Tech Community college will accept any of the following: SAT many 25 or higher in reading, 27 or higher in writing and language, and 500 or higher in math on tests taken within the last four years. Scores may vary depending on the year the SAT was completed.
If a student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, the student is in good standing and free to enroll each semester/term.

Students are allowed to repeat a course in order to improve a grade. If you repeat a class to improve your grade and you do get a higher grade, your GPA will reflect the higher grade.
Credits earned at Ivy Tech do not generally have an expiration date; however, there are some programs which, due to the changing nature of the technology involved, may require a you to retake a course if it has been a considerable amount of time passed.
