Edit Mode allows instructors to manage their courses. This button is located in the upper‐right corner of each Course area. With Edit Mode ON you can easily manage course content. With Edit Mode OFF you see what your students see.
Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.

By default, Edit Mode is turned On for instructors. When edit mode is turned on, an instructor can see all course content whether it is set to be visible or not. Instructors can also modify their course in this view. When edit mode is turned off, an instructor will see the course as a student would see it.Oct 22, 2018
Courses may not appear in the My Courses module in Blackboard for a few reasons: The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment.
To edit the course view for a specific course, edit the course settings. Go to Courses on the Admin Panel and search for the course you want to edit. In the list of results in the Course View column, you can see the view for each course. In the course's menu, select Edit, and then choose the course view.

Navigate to Course Content in the app and select a test or assignment. You can see the assessment's details, such as due dates, the number of attempts allowed, and whether it's visible students. Tap Preview to see what students experience when they complete a test or assignment in the student app.
A teacher can now see in detail, how the students split up the work, and which students actually completed the assignment.
- this feature allows students to edit or delete their existing posts. If the post is edited, there is no history for the Instructor to look at to see what was changed. If the post was deleted, the instructor has no idea what the post was or whose post it was.
Open the discussion's menu and select Delete. You can delete an entire discussion along with all responses and replies. Instructors can delete any discussion, while students can only delete discussions they've created. When students delete a discussion, other users see a message about the deletion.
