The number of submissions and the ability to re-submit an assignment is controlled by the Instructor of a class. If the assignment is set to allow re-submissions, then when you go back to the assignment, a button will appear near the bottom of the screen labeled "Start New Submission."
The submission attempt cannot be retrieved or recovered after it has been deleted. You may want to download and retain a local copy of the assignment submission before deleting it from the Grade Centre.Jul 17, 2018
Resubmit an assignment Your instructor may allow you to submit an assignment more than once for a variety of reasons.
From the pull down menu select View Grade Details. 4. On the screen that appears, find the submission near the bottom of the screen. To the right of the entry, click the button labeled Clear Attempt.
Hover over the cell and click on the contextual menu on the right side of the cell. Then select the View Grade Details from the drop-down menu. On the following page, click on the Clear Attempt button or Allow Additional Attempt. Clearing the attempt will completely remove the student's first attempt.
Editing and deleting discussion posts You can edit or delete your own posts only if your instructor has made those options available to you. You cannot edit or delete others' posts. If you post a message in error and the option to delete it is not available to you, contact your instructor.

You are allowed three resubmission attempts where the Similarity Report will generate immediately. After three attempts, you'll have to wait 24 hours before a new Similarity Report can be generated. Resubmission attempts are shared between you and your instructor.
