Great news! #IRSC is disbursing more than $2.5 million in HEERF funds to IRSC students who completed coursework this summer and meet eligibility requirements. The one-time awards are grants and do not have to be paid back.

How long do you have to wait to retest P.E.R.T?

Students are required to wait seven days before retesting on the same P.E.R.T. subtest, and students are strongly encouraged to remediate before retesting. There is no limit on the number of retest attempts.

What is a private testing room?

A private testing room or area with no distractions or other people. Make sure you have a clear work area (remove all books, papers, notebooks, calculators, etc., unless specifically permitted for your exam), sufficient lighting, and no background noise. You must have a valid photo ID to take your test.

How long does it take to complete the P.E.R.T?

It is a computer-adaptive test that is untimed, and typically takes about three hours to complete.

How long is the P.E.R.T?

Each section of the P.E.R.T. takes approximately one hour, and the entire test can take three hours or more to complete. Face coverings are required on all IRSC campuses and must be worn for the duration of your exam. Just prior to your appointment time, pay the $10 testing fee to the IRSC Cashier. You must bring this receipt with you to the Assessment Center. Cell phones, personal items or backpacks are not permitted in the Assessment Center. If you are late for your appointment, you must reschedule.
