What is iLearn/Blackboard? iLearn/Blackboard, or UCR's Blackboard, is our official learning management system. Instructors can login at iLearn.ucr.edu and find their current and previous courses.
You can access this and your course shells by logging into elearn.ucr.edu. Each faculty member has a sandboxes for instructors to familiarize themselves with Canvas.
Most importantly, our current system, a Blackboard product called WebCT Vista, is being discontinued by the company at the end of 2012. In addition, learning management systems (LMSs)—other terms are sometimes used, such as course management system or CMS—have evolved since we began using our current platform.

eLearn, or UCR's Canvas, is a new learning management system similar to iLearn or Blackboard. Students can log in at eLearn.ucr.edu and find their current courses. Below we've provided a Quick Start Guide as well as links to more in-depth eLearn Student Guides.
Log in to eLearn (Canvas): Accessing your online course begins at eLearn. Use your UCR NetID to login and access your course through the CAS login link. If you have enrolled in previous online courses at UCR University Extension, your UCR NetID and password will be the same as for previous courses.
You can view and print your grades quarter by quarter via R'Web. See the Academic Calendar to find out when grades are posted.
Webcourses@UCF can also be accessed on IOS and Android mobile devices by using the Canvas by Instructure mobile app.
The requirements for each course are varied, but online students have the same academic responsibilities as on-campus students. These include completing assigned readings, group discussions and individual assignments, such as projects, papers, case studies, and mid-term and final exams.

You MUST initially log in through iLearn to receive instructor status. Go to your course in iLearn and click YuJa on the left navigation menu. The YuJa window will open and you'll be able to have full access to the platform. After this, you can log in directly from ucr.yuja.com.

To request a Pro account (to hold meetings longer than forty minutes) or a Webinar account (for those teaching large enrollment courses). Open a web browser and visit servicelink.ucr.edu. Click “Make a Request” at the top of the page. Click the “Software Request” tile.
You can use the Canvas "Groups" functional ity for section designations and then you can filter the Gradebook by "Group:". You can also administer Assignments by Group, or make Announcements to specific Groups from within the lecture section of the course.
