Free Chatbot Version
A free chatbot version in Blackboard Learn available to SaaS clients in North America who have enabled the Base Navigation. Seamlessly integrated into Ultra Course View courses, Chatbot provides always-on support. It returns answers to students’ and instructors’ commonly asked Learn questions and issues directly from Blackboard Help.
Premium Chatbot Version
The Chatbot premium version in Blackboard Learn available to SaaS clients in North America that allows institutions to expand the scope of Chatbot support beyond Blackboard Learn help to include the institutions’ specific help.
Enable or Disable Chatbot
Navigate to Admin Panel > Integrations > LTI Tool Providers > Chatbot tool provider edit menu.
Standards for Course Web Accounts on mycourses.iit.edu
Any IIT faculty member can request an account on mycourses (~coursename) through the Office of Technology Services (OTS). Course Web accounts will have a quota of 1 GB. Accounts will be created only if the functions required for the site cannot be done in the Blackboard course management system.
Standards for Subdomain Requests
All requests for IIT subdomains (virtual domains) will be subject to review by OTS and IIT Marketing and Communications. The assignment of virtual domains to non-IIT IP addresses may be permitted, if the virtual domain name is approved. These requests are typically reserved for recruiting or advancement efforts.
Additional Notes
Additional space may be purchased for course, organization, department, and research accounts.
