Most of the time, you will enter a Course Room in the role of Participant, and the instructor will be the Moderator. The instructor can change your role from Participant to Presenter, which would increase your content sharing options. Be aware that poor internet connections and slow speeds may interfere with sharing. Therefore, you should be on a private network (e.g., at home) rather than a public one (e.g., public place, such as a school, restaurant, coffee shop).

By default, guests are not allowed to join a Collaborate Course Room, as this poses a security risk. However, there are instances where your instructor may share out a guest link with you. The guest link allows a one-click entry, so it is convenient.
Once you have joined a session, you will need to see what your instructor has enabled you to share and then determine what you want to or can share. By default, nothing will be turned on when you join the session aside from showing you have entered. However, if your instructor has enabled features, you will have many options for interacting and sharing items.
1. From your course’s Control Panel, expand the Grade Centre menu and choose Full Grade Centre.
2. Within the Grade Centre you will see a column corresponding to any assignments you have created.
4. To view an individual student’s submission first identify the cell where the student’s row corresponds with the assignment column and hover you mouse over it.
7. The Grade Details screen summarises a number of details about the submission such as when it was made, how many attempts have been submitted, and any feedback and scores that have already been entered.
14. Find the column that corresponds to your assignment and hover your mouse pointer over the name of the assignment at the top of the column. Click on the action button.
16. Select the students whose submissions you wish to download by placing a tick in the box beside their name. Note that you may select all by ticking the box at the top of the column as shown in the screenshot.
19. A zip file containing the assignments will be made available to you to download.
