May 22, 2019 · Open Blackboard and navigate to the course with the assignment. Click the My Grades link on the navigation menu. A list of all graded assignments will appear here. Any grades that you received can be found under the Grade column. A word bubble next to a grade means the professor has mad a comment.
Be sure you are ready to complete the assignment before beginning. If you are uploading a file, be sure you have triple checked your work and that it is how you want it. Depending on the settings your instructor chose, you may only have one attempt to submit your work.
You must submit an assignment before following the instructions below.
1. From your course’s Control Panel, expand the Grade Centre menu and choose Full Grade Centre.
2. Within the Grade Centre you will see a column corresponding to any assignments you have created.
4. To view an individual student’s submission first identify the cell where the student’s row corresponds with the assignment column and hover you mouse over it.
7. The Grade Details screen summarises a number of details about the submission such as when it was made, how many attempts have been submitted, and any feedback and scores that have already been entered.
14. Find the column that corresponds to your assignment and hover your mouse pointer over the name of the assignment at the top of the column. Click on the action button.
16. Select the students whose submissions you wish to download by placing a tick in the box beside their name. Note that you may select all by ticking the box at the top of the column as shown in the screenshot.
19. A zip file containing the assignments will be made available to you to download.
You can access assignments through the Blackboard course Control Panel. There you’ll find the Grade Centre. You have two options – the ‘Needs Marking’ and ‘Full Grade Centre’ options.
In the Full Grade Centre you will see all the assignments on the course and all the students in a spreadsheet view.
In this section you’ll see a list of assignments that need marking or have been marked and saved as draft.
When marking an anonymous assignment, the Attempt ID will appear above the paper instead of the student’s name. It also appears in the ‘Needs Marking’ screen and can be used to identify the attempt when anonymity is in place. Please make a note of this if you plan on returning to an attempt later.
Clicking on the attempt will open it in the viewer inside Blackboard. There is no need to download the file as long as it is one of the supported formats.
When you submit an attachment for an assignment, you'll see your submission in the new Bb Annotate viewer. The new menu provides you with a sidebar summary view, page and view settings, search capabilities, and lets you print and download the submission.
To review your grade and feedback, select the same link in your course you used to submit your assignment. The Review Submission History page appears. If you uploaded a file, it automatically opens in the browser if inline viewing is on.
