I don't quite understand your question, but it is a safeguard against cheating, and yes, the professors can see and hear, video & audio, of each student taking the test.

LockDown Browser Stops Responding Currently, the only way to resolve this issue is to do a hard shutdown (i.e. unplugging all power from the computer including power cables and/or batteries if you are using a laptop).
This testing environment must be within a learning management system. If asked, type the admin name and password for your computer. Lockdown Browser should automatically take you to Blackboard’s login page. Log into Blackboard as you normally do and open the course containing the test. Locate your exam and click it to begin taking the exam.
