Moderators see hand raise notifications and can lower hands. They can remove attendees from a session, but they cannot remove other moderators. Moderators can set the session settings, including deciding what participants can and can't do. Moderators get email with links to their session recordings.
Moderator: Moderators have full control over all content being shared. Presenter: The presenter role is designed to allow students to present without giving them full moderator privileges. Participant: Moderators decide what participants can do during the session.
You can also have all participants join as presenters or moderators. From the list of Sessions, find a session. Select Session options and Edit settings. Select Presenter or Moderator in the Guest Role menu.Aug 6, 2021
Making an Attendee a “Presenter” To view the options for each participant, click on “Attendee Controls' next to an individual's name. To allow a participant to share their screen or share files with the class, you can select “Make Presenter”. You can change their role in the session at any time.
There are several ways to add a PowerPoint file to Blackboard. This page will show you three options to share a PowerPoint to Blackboard.
This option is quick and easy but it requires the student to download the PowerPoint to their device to view it.
Share camera. The Share camera option gives you the ability to share more than one camera. Share your video and share another camera connected to your computer. Attendees can see you and anything else you want to show. You're only limited by the number of cameras and USB ports in your computer.
You can Zoom In, Zoom Out, see the slide in Actual Size, or select Best Fit. These actions are visible only to you. For example, others won't see you zoom the content in or out and you won't see what others zoom. Best Fit takes advantage of your screen real estate.
