If your school has the Original experience, log in to your Blackboard web account on your computer. You can't change push notifications from the app.
You can change which events send push notifications to your device from the app or in the web view of Blackboard Learn with the Ultra experience.
Push notifications pop up on your mobile device for course events. The type of push notifications generated depends on whether you have the Blackboard Learn Original experience or Blackboard Learn Ultra experience.
Notifications Dashboard. The Notifications Dashboard is one way you may be able to view notifications for all the courses you're enrolled in. If your institution uses it, the Notifications Dashboard appears as a secondary tab on the My Institution tab.

Blackboard features a content area type called “Homepage.’ This is a dynamic page, customized by the instructor of the course, of student-specific information. One might show upcoming due dates, another might show recent announcements. It can be a useful way for students to keep track of their tasks within a single course. I would not have recommended this option, but my mother is an online student and she says that this page is extremely important to her ability to keep up with her assignments by knowing what needs to be done when. This option may work for some courses that rely heavily on Blackboard for assignment release and grading, and where the bulk of student work and interaction happens inside of Blackboard.
Blackboard has a robust notification system, but it can be unwieldy, full of too many options and confusing. But it is robust. These three tips can help you make sense of the options and make them work for you.
