Go to Control Panel > Grade Center > Assignments. Click the grey menu button next to the column name you wish to grade, and select Grade Attempts. To enter a grade for the submission, type the score into the Attempt box.

The "My Institution" sub tab contains modules for your Courses, Tools, Links, Announcements, Calendar, etc. Modules are all customizable; your default modules may vary; however, you have the control to alter which modules show up in your content area.
There are no frames on the login page. There are two edit fields on the Login page. Your cursor is automatically placed in the first field requesting your username. Enter your username, the next edit field asks for your password. Enter your password and then select "Login".
Assignments does not appear in the Tools page list. Instructors have the option to display the Assignments tool in their Course Menu. Many different kinds of assignments could be posted to this page. Types of Assignments could include a description of a homework reading assignment and response paper or a request to turn a writing assignment in online.

You can either select the link of the name of the thread or select the thread by "checking" the thread name and selecting the "Collect" button above the Forum table.
The User Directory is a search function. You can search users by First Name, Last Name, Username, or Email. You can also search the name by "Starts With", "Equal to", and "Contains".
To reply to a post, select the "Reply" button in the same frame as the post that you would like to reply to. The subject of the message is a default reply with the subject of the original post. Enter your own message in the text box. Attach any necessary files. You have the option to save a draft of your message that you can return to later. When you are finished, select the Submit button on the bottom right hand corner of the page.
When you start or review grading, you can point to a submission timestamp to view more information. Timestamps appear on students' submission pages and on their attempts panels when you've allowed multiple attempts for an assessment.
You can embed an audio or video recording of your feedback in the editor as you grade attempts. The recording option appears in the feedback editor for most graded items in your course. Students watch or listen to your feedback alongside any text you include. This feature isn't supported on all browsers.
You can use Bb Annotate for inline grading in your courses. Bb Annotate offers a more robust feature set to provide customizable feedback to students. Features include a sidebar summary view, freehand drawing tools, various color selections, and much more.
In the Gradebook Settings panel, you can choose to automatically assign zeros to missing work past the due date. Students and groups can still submit work after an automatic zero is assigned and you can grade as normal.
You can export the file in a comma-delimited (CSV) or tab-delimited (XLS) format. You choose whether to save the file to your device or the Content Collection.

Faculty will communicate with students via email, Blackboard messages, Blackboard announcements, and discussion boards. Class sessions will be either synchronous (live) or asynchronous. Faculty will also hold virtual office hours. The tools to facilitate these office hours are either Blackboard Collaborate or Webex Meetings and Teams.

To access Blackboard, go to the YSU homepage and click Penguin Portal. Click on Blackboard.
From the moment you log in, you have access to core features in the Ultra Base Navigation menu where your name appears. You can easily return to the menu from wherever you are, even if you're in a course. The menu peeks from behind the other layers you have open.
