Randomization of questions and answers means that all of your content will be shuffled every time someone opens the survey. This can be useful for a quiz when you don't want respondents to look at each others' responses, as everyone will have the content in a different order.

We’ve made some changes to assessment feature names based on user research and current industry standards. The Ultra Course View includes the new terminology that aligns with current standards.
Though both question sets and random blocks deliver questions randomly to students, the two features have distinct differences:
If enabled, be sure to disable the pop-up blocker for Blackboard Learn so that you can access the Create Question Set pop-up window.
On the Test Canvas, locate the question set. The question set shows the total number of questions in the set, and the number of questions to display. The default is one.
You can delete a test from your course and if no student submissions exist, the gradebook item is also deleted. For tests with submissions, you must confirm that you want to permanently remove the test, all submissions, and grades from your course.
You can make changes to existing tests and change where they appear on your Course Content page. Be aware that if you change an existing test that students can access, some students may have started their submissions.
Tests are always available to instructors in the Ultra Course View, but anonymously submitted surveys aren't supported at this time.
1. To deploy a test you must first enter a Content Area. Content Areas are parts of the Blackboard site that students can access and that you can post content to. Default titles for these areas in Blackboard are Documents and Assignments. Click on the link for Assignments. 2.
Some of these features include setting question point value, deleting unwanted questions, and ordering questions.
