To send an email to some or all users in your course: From the Course Menu, click Email. If you do not see the “Email” link in the Course Menu, click Control panel > Course Tools >Send Email. On the “Send Email” page, click one of the options listed to send the email, for example, Single/Select Users.
Blackboard, Email is sent to the e-mail address your students have on file. Enter your course by clicking its name in the My Courses module. Go to Control Panel > Course Tools > Send Email . Select the group you want to e-mail. • Enter a Subject and Message in the form provided.

Log into your Blackboard course and click on the link labeled Email that is located in the course menu on the left side of your screen.
You will see the Send Email tool with list of options similar to the image above. If you wish to send an email to all students enrolled in your course, choose the item labeled All Student Users (highlighed in red and marked with a number 1).
If you choose Single/Select Users, you will see a screen labeled Single/Select Users:

At this time, you cannot directly send email to your students in an Ultra course. We have requested this feature and we will keep the campus posted when it is available.
