Find an Issue Guide or Article in Opposing Viewpoints by clicking on the Browse Issues tab at the top of the screen or by searching. Paste the url into Blackboard Learn. Remember to have the link open in a new window. Then Submit.

Choose your assessment type

Select the type of assessment you want to deliver in order to quickly jump to the most relevant part of the article:

1. Creating a Paper Assessment

To get started, click the 'Create Assessment' button on the top right hand corner.

2. Creating an Answer Key for Paper

Enter your answer key by selecting the correct response for each question. Turn on ‘advanced marking’ options to control the weight and grading scheme of each question. Click 'Continue'.

3. Printing Test Sheets

On the next step, click 'Print Bubble Sheets' to open a PDF of your test sheets, download the PDF test sheets and print them using any printer and regular paper.

4. Scanning and Uploading Test Sheets

After the test has been completed, scan the test sheets to a PDF using any scanner and select ‘Upload sheets’ to upload the PDF to Akindi.

5. Resolving Exceptions

When scanning the test sheets, Akindi will call exceptions if student information is missing or mis-filled, if a student bubbles-in more responses than the answer key contains, or if a page wasn't able to be graded.#N#Select the one of the presented suggestions to or search the student name by ID of student number in the dropdown menu.

What is Kaltura Media?

The Kaltura Media tool is a video platform that lets you upload original videos to submit in Blackboard. You can attach the videos to Assignment submissions, share the videos through Discussion Boards, Blogs, Journals, and even submit videos for Exams.

How to upload a video to Blackboard?

Click on the My Media tab at the top of the Blackboard Learn site. Click on the Add New button. Select Media Upload. Drag and drop your video file or click Choose a file to upload to select the video file from the File Upload prompt.
