In the list where your name appears, select Organizations to view your list. The organization leader and your institution manage enrollments, but you may be allowed to self-enroll. Contact the organization leader about enrollment. After you're enrolled, only the leader or an administrator can unenroll you.
On the Administrator Panel in the Courses section, select Courses. Search for a course. Select the check box for each course to delete. Select Delete.
Key differences between courses and organizations Courses are created for each course code. The students are added automatically to the course once they are registered for teaching in Student Web. Organizations, on the other hand, are only created by request.
Once you've logged in to Blackboard, click the 'Community' tab at the top of the screen.
Making Courses Unavailable in Blackboard This just means that they are unavailable to the students; you still have access. If you should need to make the course available again, you can make those courses unavailable to students by going into the Control Panel of the course. for past courses.
Select Submit to view search results. Locate the course or courses you want to delete. To delete an individual course, open the course's menu and select Delete. To delete multiple courses, select the check box next to the course folder and select Delete at the top of the results list.
It is important to clean up the Content Collection on a regular basis, such as at the end of each semester. As courses, organizations, and users are deleted from Blackboard Learn, administrators also need to remove them from the Content Collection.
Blackboard Learn provides several reports to help you monitor user activity in forums, groups, and content areas associated with courses. You can also view reports to see which course items are aligned with specific course standards or objectives.
When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID . However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available, whether guest users are permitted, and where the course appears in the course catalog.
Instead, it becomes a distinct course. The course no longer is associated with the merged set, and it contains no material from its former master course. The separated course retains both its content and enrollments from the moment it was separated out.
If Blackboard Learn doesn't recognize the file type, users can download the attached file and open it on their computers.
Course themes add a background image to the course display and change the color of the user interface, including the course menu, buttons, and controls. The theme can be changed again at any time. Applying a theme doesn't affect course content or a chosen course structure.
You may find it most useful to bulk delete course materials at the end of a course. You can select the materials you want to delete and keep the rest for use in the future. For example, you can delete students and grades from a course, but keep the content.
The Quick Setup Guide helps instructors choose elements for their courses such as a course structure and a theme. They can also edit the course name and description, and access topics and video tutorials to help them learn more about building their courses.
1. With Edit Mode set to ON, identify the menu item you wish to hide or delete.
4. The menu item will be hidden. A symbol showing this will appear when the menu item is viewed with Edit Mode set to ON. When the course is viewed by students, or by yourself when Edit Mode is OFF, the menu item will not be shown. To undo this, click on Show Link from the same menu.

6. You will be presented with a warning that all content items within the menu item you are deleting will also be deleted. Click on delete content only if you are sure this is what you want . There is no “undo” function.
