Locate the Weighted Total column in the Grade Center. Click the Action Link (drop-down arrow) in the column heading, then select Edit Column Information from the menu. If you do not have a Weighted Total column, create one by clicking Create Calculated Column > Weighted Total. Required: Fill in the column name.
Create total columns. In the Grade Center, open the Create Calculated Column menu and select Total Column. On the Create Total Column page, type a brief name and an optional description. The name becomes the column name in the Grade Center and on students' My Grades pages.
When you create an assessment in Blackboard (Test, Assignment or Turnitin Assignment), a column is automatically created in the Grade Centre and, by default, that column is visible to students via the My Grades tool and the Global Navigation menu.
To unhide a Grade Centre column, just go through the same steps again:
You may need to scroll to the right if your columns are not all visible. Click on the drop down menu for the column. Click Hide from Students (on/off). (This will turn on the Hide from Student) A red circle will appear in column heading indicating the column is hidden.
The column will no longer be visible in the Grade Center. NOTE: If you want to hide the column from both the student's view and the instructor's view , you must hide the column from the students view first.
To access the Full Grade Center, go to the Control Panel and click on Grade Center. Select Full Grade Center.
Click the chevron just to the right of the name of the columns whose results you wish to hide from student view.
