Click the link provided by your Instructor to enter the Blackboard Collaborate session.
In the upper left corner, click the 3 lines.
A pop-up window will appear. Click Start Recording.
A message will appear on the upper right side of the screen letting you know the session is being recorded.
When you are finished recording, click the same 3 lines in the upper left corner again.
Then click Stop Recording.
A message will appear in the upper right corner letting you know the recording has stopped and that it is safe to exit.

What happens when you stop recording?

When you stop a recording, you will not maintain your current place in the recording. The recording returns to the beginning. From the Playback menu, point to Player and click Stop.

Can a moderator record a session?

After your session is over, the recording will become available in about as much time as the length of the recording. It will be located on your group's Collaborate page.

Where to view recorded sessions

In your Blackboard Course or Organization, in the Collaborate Ultra tool, click Menu ≡ and change to Recordings.
