How to post a working hyperlink to a Blackboard discussion, blog, or journal
- Highlight the text you want to make a working hyperlink
- Click the “Insert/Edit Link” button
- Copy/paste the URL for your link
- Select “Open in New Window (_blank)” from the “Target” drop-down
- Click the “Insert” button
- Click the “Submit” button (if a discussion post) or
- Test your hyperlink to make sure it works, clicking on the link you created to ensure that it opens as desired in a new window
Highlight the text you wish to make into a link, then click the Hyperlink button in the second row of buttons. It looks like a chain link. Step 2: The Insert/Edit Link page will open in a pop-up window. Step 3: Paste the entire URL (or web address) into the Link Path box.
