Select the folder in the course where you want the test to reside. Select Next.
Within a few seconds, the Publish Wizard will open indicating that the questions have been uploaded to your course successfully. Select Finish.
Respondus Monitor uses the student's webcam to record their activity during their session. You can use the recording to verify the student is taking the exam alone and that they're not using physical materials such as written notes. After you enable Respondus Monitor for an assessment, additional options appear.
Secure assessments. When you create an assessment, you have many options to promote academic integrity and honesty in student submissions. However, online submissions allow students to submit work outside of a physical classroom. Students may have the opportunity to refer to disallowed materials when drafting submissions.
You can also: Lock student into the browser until exam is completed. Students won't be able to exit the exam until they complete and submit their work. You can provide an optional password for students or other course members who you want to provide an exception. Allow students to take this exam with an iPad.
After you have created your test as you normally would in your course and added it to a Content Area such as Assessments, select Course Tools from your course's Control Panel.

If asked, type the admin name and password for your computer. Lockdown Browser should automatically take you to Blackboard’s login page. Log into Blackboard as you normally do and open the course containing the test. Locate your exam and click it to begin taking the exam.
Students MUST download the Respondus Lockdown Browser on the computer they will be using to take the test. Respondus does not automatically update, so students are encouraged to check their version on the download page below to ensure they have the most up-to-date version.
