If you are receiving a registration error such as “Department Consent Required”, click on the course section and see “Enrollment Information”. This will provide details about the course. For example, if the course is designated as an out-of-state section, department consent is required.

A session called Dynamic Dated Session is associated with all three terms. This session has classes scheduled outside of the normally scheduled time periods and is used for special programs known as Academic Partnership programs. Only students associated with these programs can enroll in the Dynamic Dated Sessions.

Dynamically dated classes are much more flexible. They can begin and end on any date within the term and can be any length, e.g.., one weekend, 13 weeks, anything in between, etc.
Full-Time enrollment for long semesters (fall and spring) is 12 semester hours for undergraduates and 9 semester hours for graduate students. Full-time enrollment is also required in the summer if that is your first semester at UTA.
