To utilize Export Grades, follow these steps: Create a Grading Schema. By default, Blackboard’s Grade Center follows UIC’s 10-point grade scale (A=100-90, B=89-80, C=79-70, D=69-60, F=59 and below).

Post grades. When you're ready to release grades to students, select the Post option in the column header. All grades you've assigned for this column are posted for students to see. If you want to post one at a time, click within that student's cell and select Post in the menu.

If you have submitted an assignment and you don't see a grade, that means the instructor has probably not graded the assignment yet. The yellow exclamation point icon means that the assignment still needs grading.

There are separate apps for Blackboard students and instructors. The student Blackboard app is used to receive mobile updates, participate in course-related activities, and view grades. The Blackboard Instructor app allows instructors to view the course content, grade assignments, and use Blackboard Collaborate.
Banner is UIC’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, which houses all faculty/staff and student data inclusive of grading. Grading periods include MIDTERM grades and FINAL term grades.
If you used the Banner 9 FGE Template, you do NOT need to map any column in this step. The FDE template/spreadsheet, has all columns correctly labelled and you do not need to do anything on this step.
