It is not possible to copy the newer chart types (e.g. Waterfall) in VBA, but a workaround is to make a duplicate and cut it: ActiveChart.Parent.Duplicate.Cut.

Simply highlight the text you want to want to copy from the internet and type Ctrl+C to copy it into your clipboard. Then use the Ctrl+V command to paste the text into a cell of your choosing in your Excel spreadsheet. The pasted text will retain the formatting from the website.
If you look at the pie charts tab in the attached file, I have a note and arrows pointing to the bottom two pie charts. I am absolutely not able to copy either of these and then paste somewhere. I have tried CTRL-C, using the ribbon to copy as a picture, and using the ribbon to copy as a bitmap. Neither of them will go on my clipboard.
