I simply plugged that jack on my audio jack. Although audio will temporarily be cut off you can restore your audio settings by going to Sound>Playback Devices and then choosing whatever audio device/driver you were using. On Windows 10, the Sound icon is to the lower right as a speaker icon (next to the connection icon).
All I can think of is buying a crap ton of splitters, or replacing your sleakers with a bluetooth pair, and just switching to the headset when you want to!
