You can allow students to submit more than one attempt for an assignment. Multiple attempts can help students stay on track, raise the quality of assignments, and ultimately improve student success and retention. Students can submit drafts and earn credit on improvements.
You can't edit a submitted assignment, but you may be allowed to resubmit it. However, you can't resubmit all assignments. Check if you can submit an assignment more than once. If you can't and made a mistake, you must contact your instructor to ask for the opportunity to resubmit the assignment.
The majority of Blackboard assignments only allow one attempt for submissions.

Yes, Blackboard can detect plagiarized content using SafeAssign plagiarism checker. However, Respondus LockDown Browser which is also called Respondus Monitor is required for remote proctoring. As a result, Blackboard can not detect cheating during tests without the LockDown Browser.

If changing the availability day and time, you CANNOT choose the Due Date option which reads "Do not allow students to start the Test if the due date has passed." This option would prevent the exceptions from working.
The other day, we received a call requesting assistance. A student was completing an exam, but the exam timed out and she still had more to do.
