When you are watching a lecture recording in Blackboard click the bookmark you've just created. A prompt will ask you to enter the playback speed, 1.5 is entered as the default, but you can enter any decimal number. Press enter or click OK and the playback speed will be immediately applied.Sep 30, 2020
When you click a recording link, the web conferencing window opens. Use the playback controller at the bottom the window to start, stop, pause, resume, and navigate through the recording.
When you stop a recording, you will not maintain your current place in the recording. The recording returns to the beginning. From the Playback menu, point to Player and click Stop.
In recordings, you may see session attendee names replaced by "Participant" and numbers in the Chat and Participants panels. The session creator configured the session to hide attendee names to protect their identities.

You can also use Collaborate Ultra from within a meeting at any time. Once complete, your students can access it via a link in your Blackboard course. The recordings can be shared publicly or downloaded by the instructor to edit, archive, or upload to another video streaming service.
Please note that recordings will not appear immediately. They can take at least as long as the duration of the original recording to be displayed. In times of high use, live sessions are given priority over recording processing. As such, recordings can sometimes take a few hours to appear in your recording list.
